Flagler Small Business Incubator Program offers a 10 week courses on small business success followed by an incubator period. Admission into the incubator portion of the program is begun with a business plan. The programs goal is to bring business and industry to Flagler County that will create jobs.

FSBI, entering its third year, was conceived to assist entrepreneurs who were undertaking to start a business or take a functioning business to a higher level of performance. Successful applicants to the Flagler Small Business Incubator program receive office space (if required), administrative support, including a receptionist, clerical assistance, and use of state-of-the-art office equipment. They also have access to experienced consultants in the fields of finance, marketing, logistics and personnel. Competent advice in these disciplines is essential in assisting them in establishing a new enterprise or growing an existing business. These services are provided at a reduced fee to minimize the financial burden on their enterprises.

National statistics show that only 18% of all new businesses survive the first five years. In contrast, 87% of business incubator graduates endure this initial period. Applicants to the program are selected based upon their completed business plans and the information that they provide in their applications regarding goals, objectives, resources and relevant education and experience in their chosen field of endeavor.
