The SBDC at Daytona State College is a member of the Florida SBDC Network, a statewide service network funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

As a subcenter of the SBDC at UCF, the SBDC at Daytona State College has been actively serving the entrepreneurs of Volusia and Flagler Counties since 1992. In addition to Workshops and group training programs, the SBDC at Daytona State provides business owners with access to individual business management assistance. Certified Business Analysts provide free confidential information and advice in person, over the telephone and by e-mail. Clients must fill out and send (through secure servers) a 'Request for Counseling' found at the Florida Small Business Development Center website. Counseling locations are conveniently located, in Daytona Beach, Flagler County, and West Volusia.
