For the past 2 years, Flagler County Public Schools has been rated an “A” District by the Florida accountability system.   

Flagler County Schools have many reasons to boast. Over the past 10 years, Flagler County has been one of the fastest growing counties in America.  Even with this explosive growth our local schools maintained academic excellence.

Flagler County schools have 98% of their teachers teaching within their field of training and expertise. The state average is only 91.2%

This creates strong teachers who are dedicated to the study of the subject they teach. Our public high schools have a 1% drop out rate, the Florida average is 2.6.

Rymfire Elementary School has received the esteemed honor of being selected as an Apple Distinguished School.  Only 33 schools across the USA were selected as Apple Distinguished Schools.

• Business partners will contribute more than one million dollars to the District over the next seven (7) years to support supplemental programs.

• Each school has the services of a full-time nurse. 

• Each school has a School Advisory Council (SAC) made up of parents, students, educators and community members. 

In 2010, the district once again received an A rating from the Florida Department of Education
