Bulow State Park and historical site offering walking trails, kayak creek tours, and scenic grounds which provide the setting to old sugar plantations ruins.
Gamble Rogers State Park is trimmed by an unspoiled stretch of beach on one side and the intracoastal waterway along the other, this nature preserve has walking and biking trails and a camp site with ocean views. It is an ideal place to relax after a trek and have a picnic or to just sit back to watch the wild life and views.
Washington Oaks State Park is located along the Atlantic coastline containing some unique coquina rock formations. Formal gardens are the centerpiece of this park. These gardens provide a remarkable example to the use of native plants and some exotic species. Walking and biking trails wind through the park. Visitors can picnic or fish along the Matanzas river which flows through the park to the ocean. 
Princess Place Preserve is located on Old Kings Road in the Northern most tip of the County. It is the original homestead for the area. Five beautiful hiking trails await your exploration. Each is unique offering views of different ecosystems and habitats. Click here for a printable map of the hiking trails. Each year the much anticipated Creekside Festival is held in the park.
